Whether you support cities, counties, districts, or other types of member organizations, this tool helps you quickly see where positions are filled, vacant, or overstaffed — without digging through individual records.

Define Which Positions & Organizations to Track

Start by setting workspace-wide tracking preferences. Choose which organization types matter most — e.g., Member, Non-Member, Staff, Exhibitor, Event Guest, etc. — and then define key positions to monitor, using tags, person types, or specific positions. Apply a default expected headcount across all organizations and set exceptions as needed. This setup ensures the Vacancy Report focuses on positions that are meaningful to your association’s mission.

Set Custom Position Counts by Organization

Each member organization may have different position needs. With the override tool, admins can define how many people are expected in each tracked position — specific to each organization. For example, one county may need seven commissioners, while another only requires three. This flexibility allows for differences in member organization sizes rather than a one-size-fits-all rule.
