Easily send refund notifications to your members and partners for credit notes and payments.
We're thrilled to introduce our latest update, designed to enhance your notification system, especially for manual refunds. This update covers refunds for both payments and existing credit notes, giving you more control and customization over your communication processes.
What's New?
Now, when processing a manual refund from the All Transactions page, you can send a personalized refund notification. Whether it's a payment refund or a credit note refund, we've got you covered.
Please Note: This update doesn't change existing notifications for refunds generated by cancellations.

Targeted Recipient Selection
- You can now send a copy of the refund notification to yourself and the organization’s billing contact.
- Easily add other recipients from your CRM database by searching for their email addresses and including them in the notification.

Preview Functionality
- Before sending out notifications, you can preview the content to ensure everything is accurate and complete. This feature helps minimize errors and improves the effectiveness of your communications.

Cancellation Notifications to Financial Contacts
- We've added a permission setting to view financial contacts on the event details page.
- In edit mode, you can now add a financial contact for an event, similar to how you add an event contact.
- During cancellation, you'll see the financial contact in the notifications section of the cancellation workflow popup. If no financial contact is set, a tooltip will alert you.
- When a financial contact is selected, the cancellation notification, including any refund details, will be sent to them by default.
